Praise him for his mighty acts: Praise him according to his excellent greatness… Let everything that hath breath praise Jehovah. Praise ye Jehovah.
Let’s do a quick one on praise, shall we?
One of the weapons we possess as Christians is Praise! When we praise, we enjoy ourselves in God’s presence; however, praise isn’t just for enjoyment – it is a weapon of warfare. Dancing and singing to shame the devil tells him that no matter what he does to put obstacles in your way, you’ll always come out the victor!
Praise is a force, a lifestyle that helps us experience maximum victory. Laughing even in periods of adversity/hardships is always too much for the devil to take; irrespective of circumstances around us, praise keeps us afloat – it makes us immune to all that hardship going on around us.
Why do you think David was the man after God’s heart (Acts 13:22)? David was never far away from his harp; his lips never far away from praising God; he continually praised… he praised without cease (Psa. 34:1)
Prayer is incomplete without praise. It’s like dry bread eaten without water to wash it down.
Heb. 13:15 – Praise must be the fruit of our lips, not complaints or grumblings – just PRAISE. God already knows what you’re going through, He doesn’t need you to keep murmuring about it, He needs you to praise Him for what He has done and what you know He will do – AND He will willingly turn your situation around.
