The David Olatona Global Outreach Team left Nigeria on Wednesday, 5th of March, 2014 arriving at Adidogome, Togo by 1:00 pm. They had enough time to relax and prepare in all spheres for the tasks ahead of them.

The School of Leadership, an undisputable avenue of raising ethical leaders commenced for this trip with forty-seven (47) Pastors and Leaders in attendance on the first day. Rev. David Olatona during opening session ministered on the topic, “The Essentials for Success in Life and Ministry” where he explored the following nuggets judiciously; be a man of vision, Have your core values, Integrity, Excellence, Love, and the fear of God. He also taught exclusively on the seven (7) pillars that make us balanced Christians. “The Power of Commitment” and “Stewardship” were the topics divinely taught to forty-three (43) on the second day of the leadership school. The hunger for the word of God was the inspiration for the latter teaching as faithful participants in attendance were eager and thirsty for more of the Word of God.

The last session of the School Of Leadership continued with the teaching on “STEWARDSHIP” where the principles and areas of leadership were thoroughly expounded. At the end of this glorious session, sixty (60) Pastors and Leaders received certificates for their unflinching attendance and participation.

The success of the Vocational Programme as powered by the D.O.G.O. duo of Sisters Blessing Etuk and Alice Sibigam was heart warming. The expectant participants were taken through the sequential procedures in the production of Air Freshener, Body Cream & Hair Cream, Stain remover , Toilet Wash, Germicide (Izal), Body Spray, Insecticide, Disinfectant (Dettol) and Liquid soap for two solid theory and practical sessions in two days. Above all, Seventy-three (73) people received certificates of attendance and participation; equipped their entrepreneurial skills to better their lives and also impact their world positively.

There was an outpouring of God’s presence through the success night platform of this mission trip as anchored by Rev. David Olatona. He started on the first night by saying that God placed in his heart four (4) prophetic words for his people this year. This year, God will do a miracle in the lives of the people that will make them forget their past pains, they will Hit it Big this year, they will enjoy progress this year and finally this year, every challenge that comes their way, they will walk over. He also emphasized the part we need to play for those prophetic words to come to pass in our lives this year which are: you must have a Big Dream; you must pursue whatever thing you pursue God’s way this year and know where to go, allow God to direct your steps. “Things we must do to hit it big this year” such as allow God to order our steps, being prayerful and knowing how to act when it’s time to act were the explosive theme and sub-themes respectively that were handled by the Man of God on the second success night

Saturday’s Success Night which was the third one was not an exception. Despite the enemy trying to raise its ugly head by causing a total black out in the community, the presence of God was still felt as Jesus our true light filled the church with His glory. There was a manifestation of God’s goodness as God’s servant, Rev. David Olatona led the people in Powerful Warfare prayers destroying the works of the enemies and setting the people free. Their Big Dreams prayer request was anointed and God used His servant mightily to wrought wonders in the lives of the people.

By the word of knowledge, God spoke through a prophetess in the house confirming the call of God upon the life of Rev. David to go out to all African nations and preach the message of salvation and that (GOD) has opened more doors for him. It’s also pertinent to note that in all the success night sessions where lives were saved and destinies transformed, over three hundred (300) people were always in attendance.

The grand finale of this epoch-making mission trip was a thanksgiving service held on the 9th of March, 2014. The church was filled to capacity and the overflowing presence of the Holy Spirit was real. The church choir and the Choral (native) choir ministered powerfully in songs uplifting the souls of the people.

The message for the day was centered on “HOW TO MAINTAIN AND GROW IN WHAT GOD HAS GIVEN TO YOU.”

He said it is the word “faithful” that will help believers maintain what God has bestowed on them. He asserted further that to be faithful to God is to be faithful to man. Therefore, “To keep your hands opened, you must be faithful to the one who opened his hands to you”.

Conclusively, the Man of God summarized the three levels of Leadership he taught in the leadership school and also the areas the people needed to be faithful.

Beloved, to God be the glory for the huge success experienced on this mission trip as proven by the testimonies from the lips of the brethren.
