HOW TO FLOURISH IN TIMES OF FAMINE

Times of famine will always occur – there was famine in the days of Abraham, again in the time of Isaac and so on; but the important thing to note is that while some people died in it, some also succeeded in it! In times of famine, the believer can still flourish, thrive and succeed! In these times and waves of trouble, lack and scarcity, your family will know no lack!

Famine is severe shortage. It is extreme scarcity. It is serious economic downturn. BUT the good news is that because you are a child of God, the apple of His eyes, these shortage, scarcity and downturn swallowing others up will not swallow you up!

WHAT WILL SET YOU APART IN THE TIMES OF FAMINE:

  • You must know and walk with God (Dan. 11: 32). Have your personal relationship with God – that is the only way to do great exploits and flourish in the face of lack!
  • Have the knowledge of the covenant between you and God. His covenant will speak and work for you if you know and understand it! David had a covenant with Jonathan, and it spoke for Mephibosheth – covenants do not die, it speaks always! God’s covenant does not expire, never! When you understand the workings of the covenant between you and God, it will be impossible for you to be stranded – people will go out of their ways to help and provide for you!

WHAT DOES GOD SAY IN TIMES OF FAMINE

YOU WILL LAUGH AT FAMINE! Job 5: 20 – “In famine he shall redeem you from death: and in war from the power of the sword. You shall be hid from the whip of the tongue: neither shall you be afraid of destruction when it comes. At destruction and famine you shall laugh: neither shall you be afraid of the beasts of the earth.”

This year, you will laugh at famine and devastation, your days of shortage are over!

YOU WILL BE KEPT ALIVE! Psa. 33: 18, 19 – “Behold, the eye of the LORD is on them that fear him, on them that hope in his mercy; to deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.”

In this season, God will deliver you from death, He will keep you alive and well! He will prosper you! He will lift up your horn. He will open doors for you, blessings and breakthrough will be your portion! You and your house will not fall!

YOU WILL LIVE IN ABUNDANCE! Psa. 37: 18, 19 – “The LORD knows the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be forever. They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.”

This year, God will keep supplying for you until no more is needed!!! You will flourish! You will succeed! You will grow rigorously! You will increase in assets!

YOU WILL BE RICH! Prov. 10: 22 – “The blessing of the LORD, it makes rich, and he adds no sorrow with it.”

——

Say theses prayers with me:

In this season, favour and riches will pursue, success will overtake you!

I receive honour, my petitions are granted to me. Ungodly authorities, laws and rules are changing on my behalf. I won battles today that I do not even have to fight because God fights them for me! I experience free favours of God.

Lord bless me, keep me, make your face to shine upon me, be gracious upon me, lift up Your countenance upon me and give me peace. Make me as Ephraim and Manasseh, let me be satisfied with favour, fill me with your blessings; command your blessings upon my life. God give me revelations and let me blessed! I am the seed of Abraham through Jesus Christ, so I receive the blessings – Lord bless me and multiply me! Let your showers of blessing be upon my life! Oh Lord, turn every curse that is sent my way into blessings. Let your blessings make me rich, let all nations and generations call me “blessed”! I declare today, I am the son/daughter of the blessed. My sins are forgiven. Daily load me with your benefits!

I am chosen by God, therefore I am blessed! My seed is blessed. Let your favour be upon my life like the latter rain; let your beauty be upon my life. From this day, for the rest of my days, let me begin to experience extraordinary favour!
